Haiku to a Butterfly

Author:
haiku-to-a-butterfly

Butterfly, you soar,

Your bright colors we adore.

Petitely you sit.

haiku-to-a-butterfly

Butterfly fly high,

Stretch your wings up to the sky.

Graceful, we admit.

Butterfly, so sweet,

Light upon your flowered seat.

Once where fairies lit.

Thank you, whonu. It is fine here too. We woke up to a lovely sunny morning, blue sky everywhere so I'll make the most of being outside. Hope you and yours are all well.

Beautiful photos and beautiful poetry. I love butterflies; so delicate, so bright, they lighten up the darkest day.

You do haikus well, whonu. I love the stanza about the fairies. I've noticed more butterflies in my garden these past weeks. It must be their time.
