That Place In My Heart

Updated on May 30, 2016

Live, Love, Laugh

Dedicated to my late husband Bill

With

A special message for my children: Kelly; Kent; Krissy; and grandchildren: Kamri; Hayden; and Bailey.

There is a place in our hearts that brings fear. It comes when we open our hearts to love. Don't let fear take over the whole heart but soften its grip by filling your heart with memories of love and of laughter. Memories will bring tears but they also can give us our greatest comfort. Make memories that become your armor that let you step from the shadows of despair.

Live without fear

Love without limit

Laugh with pure joy

That Place In My Heart

There's a place for everything

A place that holds treasures beyond compare.

It can be locked and its treasure hidden and soon forgotten,

But, also left open its treasure to share.

It will hold all that is brought in

Everything in its place.

There's a place for everything.

A place that expands to hold all that we place there,

From the top to the bottom protected.

Its contents placed with great care,

Just waiting for a time to be selected.

Everything in its place.

There's a place for everything,

A place to go in happiness or despair,

Biding me to be of comfort forevermore.

Its contents sometimes an answer to a prayer,

Allowing those treasures to give more and more.

Everything in its place.

There's a place for everything.

I visit that place often,

Not always without tears.

The sadness over time has softened,

There these treasures overcome the fears.

Everything in its place.

There's a place for everything.

That treasure chest is my heart

That treasure, all my memories

Their life from the shadows did depart

Into my sweet and pleasant reveries,

And everything is in its place - That place that is my heart!

Life's Riches

Life without fear
Life without fear
Love without limit
Love without limit
Laughter of pure joy
Laughter of pure joy
