Morning Encounters

blue-bells

I grapple at the beauty of sunrise,

Awakening another peerless dawn.

I grasp at the majestic opal skies;

The immaculate virtue of the morn.

The blue-bells arise, now fully adorned,

As I hum to the splendour of daybreak.

I drift with the elegance of the swan,

Touched by the serenity of the lake.

The din of life is forgotten for now,

An immaculate silence feeds my core.

The eloquence of robins, chant somehow,

In the flames of an opalescent glow.

O Lantern, thy soul is filled with longing;

Sweet heaven heralds the light of morning.

      I live in a farm house surrounded by Nature. To the north is a small pond, and on the east, south, and west are forested acres and a wetlands beyond. The area teems with wildlife. When the weather is warm (as it is now) I sleep with windows open and awaken to the sound of a million birds singing their morning song. I cannot think of a more beautiful way to begin the day.

      Ah, Tim, so kind, so kind. Much appreciations, Bro.

      Yes, Bill,

      Finally the weather is good to you, Took a while, eh? But now at least you can sell the produce, I believe. Thank you!

      Yes, yes, Fullerman, each day is a virgin dawn. I appreciate your keen insight and observations. A fine sentiment and welcome here. Gratitude.

      Wow! Linda,

      Such beauty, such resonance ... such marvel and such captivating songs!! A million birds!

      I came out of meditation in Heidleberg at our Temple. I was already pretty 'high' but half way down the steps, I was touched by the magnolia flowers, the autumnal leaves... my Soul went sporting to another place of Light and Delight.

      Thank you so much, my Dear. God's Love be with you and yours.

      Ah, Dee, so special. Yesterday was extremely hot, though. I went to worship in the evening and I was sweating so much!! I kept wiping my forehead and one girl was laughing at me. After nearly two hours later, she told me that she had the same experience.

      Thing is, our Caribbean heat is coloured by our land and sea breezes. Anyway, dawn is nearly always wonderful and a poet's dream. Peace, Love and Light.

      Hope reigns....I do believe that...it is with a hopeful heart and God's assurance that He is walking with me and carrying me and mine when needed that each day begins.

      The songs the cardinals and many other precious birds provide for me not only at the breaking of day but throughout each day remind me of the wonders of nature. Well done...thank you for sharing your talents once again. Angels are headed your way today. ps
