I smile back ~ a poem

Updated on May 15, 2016

When you're wrong

I smile

Im wrong

I smile

It doesn’t matter

We smile

When rain comes pouring down

From doe-eyed eyes

From mine, from yours

I smile, you smile

We have each other

Not one, not hundred

Could break us

When you move, I move

When you wave, I wave

The reflection of me, my mirror

When you smile

I smile back

~by me

      nice poem...good rhythm.

have you heard of Sharon Olds? a few lines reminded me of her for some reason...but her style is definitely different.
