What is love? A very philosophical question right? And it's too hard to answer. You love your partner and you do love your parents right? But you also love your pet, your morning tea, your job. You love your friends and also that movie star whom you have never met. You love to help someone and at the same time you love to full fill your wishes.
Only Then You Will Know
"Hello, Mrs. Jones. I am Bianca. I was wondering if you could come today. Actually I have some ideas to discuss with you, please can you come?"
"Well...okay. I will be there, dear. It will take one and half an hours, maybe. Is it okay?"
"Yeah, sure, Mrs Jones. And thank you."
"You are welcome."
It will be a quiet busy day, today. The wedding is tomorrow, and the bride has called now for some last minute discussion. She is an makeup artist. And she is doing this job for quiet a long time. She does all her work and starts to get ready.
"Anna, are you going out?"
"Well, when will you come back?"
"I don't know...now please, mom. I am already late."
"Okay, okay. Be careful while driving. I am going to garden."
Anna gets a little bit annoyed. Her mom still behaves like she is a teenage girl. Anna gets ready and starts to leave, then suddenly stops and takes her phone out to make a call.
"Hello, Marriah, how are you?"
"I am fine mom. How are you?"
"I am good. Have you skipped your breakfast again today?"
"Well good. Don't roam around in the Sun with your students for too long."
"Mom, I don't do that."
"Yes you do, my dear."
"I am not your little girl anymore. Stop worrying."
"Hmm....you will know when you will be a mother yourself."
"Okay, okay. Mom, now I have to go. Okay bye. Give my love to dad and grandma. Love you."
Anna, puts down the phone.
Suddenly she realizes, she has heard those kind of words, before, a million times maybe.
"Mom, will you stop worrying about me? I am not little anymore."
"Anna, when you will be a mother, ONLY THEN YOU WILL KNOW."
Her daughter is nearly twenty eight, but today in this very moment, Anna becomes a mother again. She senses the concern which her mother feels for her even today. She feels the love which her mother has for her and she has for her daughter.
Anna goes to the garden where her mother is trimming the roses. She goes close to her and hugs her.
"Love you mom."
Her mother gets slightly shocked.
"What happened, Anna?"
"I have known today, mom."
"I don't understand."
"How does it feel to be a mother."
"Anna, I am not getting you at all."
Anna smiles and hugs her mother again.
"Okay, mom. I am going now. Take care. Bye."
"Drive carefully. And call me, if you will get late."
"I will, mom."
