YOUR BEST INVESTMENT EVER - HEAVEN

This is an article that burst out of my heart. This is the top article that I wanted people to read and think about as much as possible.

Is this rat-race really worth it?

Look at the world. People are driven by the economy. Up and down the world goes. Almost like a rat race. All humans, searching for something that could be of value to them. Some turn to huge financial investments. Some buy houses. Some buy more furniture.

But then, on some carpet in some house, there is a young woman. She looks up at the sky in the middle of her average lifestyle. She says: “Please do not let me miss eternity with You, Lord?” You can hear the desperation in her voice. Yet, outside her house, some guy in some two-story house is shouting at his wife for ruining his new shirt.

Both of them are searching for something, but only one of them is searching for something of eternal value…

Golden Scripture

There is a golden Scripture in the Word of God, just sitting there for us to discover. It will change your life!

Matthew 6:19-21: Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

This Scripture does not need any revelation to understand it. Though, it will be important for you to undergo a mindset change, in order for you to believe and obey this Scripture.

True Fulfilment

Let us look at the things on earth. You can touch it. You can feel it. You have it in your life for a certain purpose. Your coffee table holds your favourite coffee next to a stunning photograph of your 3 year old daughter. It sounds beautiful. Unfortunately, one day, one of your busy teens lost his balance and destroyed the corner leg of that table. After several screws, drills and sweat, you realize that this coffee table will never be the same.

See, that is exactly how the things on earth work. It may bring you joy for some time, only to realize that it was never meant to last eternity. God is calling you to a POWERFUL mindset change about the way you live your life.

The Word says that the thieve comes to steal, kill and destroy, but God comes so you may have life in abundance! You may say: “It’s just a coffee table.”

What about those days where the bank manager got the worst of you when your interest rate fell. What about that day where you friend bought a new barbeque and you just had to have it. So much, that you put yourself in debt to get it. Not serious enough?

Somewhere, someone forgot about the eternal fulfilment that God brings, so they start maxing out their credit cards. They go home with a bunch of stuff. The very next day they go into hiding, because they do not want their partner to know they are cutting themselves. In another part of the world, someone is looking at social media photos in deep depression. “Why can’t I be happy?” Somewhere, a woman is selling her body for less than she is worth, because just for a moment, that money could make her wounds seem bearable. Maybe you know someone. Maybe you are that someone!

The Truth!

God is calling you back to His house! Stop believing the lies of the devil. He wants you to hold on to things that will bring you temporary joy. Why? Because you will be missing out on a wonderful relationship with God, where joy doesn’t have to end.

If you could undergo this POWERFUL mindset change, God is going to introduce you to things that will fill that hole in your heart. You know, that hole that could not be covered up with outside wounds or filled with money or expensive stuff! It is called HEAVEN!

I choose eternity with God!

John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus died so we could be reunited with God in heaven. Our sin made us guilty on all charges, keeping us from the Kingdom of God. On the third day, Jesus rose and showed Himself to His disciples and many other. He promised the gift of the Holy Spirit as Comforter and Counsellor. He was then lifted to up heaven again. We should understand that this was an eternal invitation from God, for His children to be with Him for eternity.

Hold on to the things that were meant to last eternity. God made you to bear fruit of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These are but small investments towards something that surpasses your understanding. An eternal life, that means, a life that never ends, with a God who came to our level to show us how much He loves us…

All you need to do is, invest. “Jesus, forgive my sins and come into my life. Show me what I have been missing!” Change your mind about things that kept you happy for a day. Lay it down and exchange it for God’s love. God stays the same, yesterday, today and forever! Praise the Lord!

Ronel, Thanks for the encouragement and feel free to use anything you might have found in my writings you think will assist others on their journey. Our purpose for being awaken is to work to encourage others who are struggling with their journey to find their answers.

One can not accept the Gospels nor Revelation without understanding the old testament. You notice how Isaiah 28:9-13 tells us in different words that "the Bible and Life are puzzles and we must understanding what both offers. Even Paul, in Romans 1:20, said the invisible things are understood by the made things. The key is we must separate ourselves from "what we are taught by man" and seek independent of their schooling us.

So, again, feel free to share anything you feel will help others.

      Your brother in Christ,

      Elijah "NatureBoy"

Thank you for sharing the scripture. It is awesome to know that there are still some people seeking to know Jesus and to be born again. I wish I could have included the entire 'why we need to be born again' in my blog. I think next time a will share a link for people with specific questions like these. Each blog makes more questions. Thank you for enlightening me. I am going to go and read those scriptures.

A wonderful presentation of the purpose for Jesus the Christ's works among us woman (not a gender but all descendants of Adam and Eve), Ronel, but it doesn't tell us how to make that transition. As a matter of fact, there are no literal written words in any set of scriptures that does. But Scriptures do tell us what is requires. Jesus told us we "must be born again" and "enter the straight way with the narrow gate. Even the Buddha told us to find "the middle path" but neither of them gave us an explanation.

Therefore, we must find some kind of key to help us. Genesis 2:24 is the first I've found and Isaiah 28:9-13 a second but they're metaphors that in need of interpretation. I have a Hub called "Why Be Born Again" that might help one to discover their meanings and poems of my experiences in my journey in discovering their meanings I want to invite you to explore and see if they will help you discover the way.

      Peace!
