Have Faith in Our God

Facing and handling the hardships and persecutions in life is not easy and it will never be. The life we have here on earth will never be perfect no matter how hard we try. Life is not fair, that much is true and we believe that because if it were, there will be no winning in the games, all our prayers will be answered, and no more challenges if life is easy.

Having so much pain, being disappointed, depressed, afraid, or stuck in a situation where you don't want to stay any longer because it gives you torture every day are the things that no one would ever wish to be in. I know it is a lot, hard, and will consume so much of your energy if you dwell on these but please know that you don't have to do it because our God has overcome the world.

Have faith in our God because He is in control of everything. If the life we have here on earth has too many trials to be handled, then it is not ours, it is God's. If we trust Him, we will surrender every hardship that we may encounter, and if we trust Him, we will still choose to ask Him to give us more strength instead of giving up our lives.

Our God Is Fighting for Us Always

How to handle persecutions and hardships in life? This is a tough question for others and some would find it easy because we have our own ways of resolving them here on earth. Believe it or not, those ways are mostly earthly things because these are the things that we see. This also means that we are depending on our capabilities and on our own understanding.

Remember that God is almighty, in control, and powerful. Let's not lean on our own understanding. God's ways are higher and He will always fight for us.

I hope as we go through the examples below, may we change the way we handle the persecutions and hardships we face while we are still alive.

  • Love your enemies - Pray for those who persecute you. God never told us to do a bad thing in return, instead, do good and love them as you love yourself.
  • Don't keep a record of wrongs - If we give love to those who persecute us, we should not keep a record of the bad things they have done to us.
  • Be understanding - No one would ever think of hurting others if they are not going through something, so instead of being mad at them, let's just be more understanding because hurt people hurt.
  • Do not revenge - The battle is not ours. Surrender and give it to God.
  • Pay them with a blessing - That is what God has called you to do and He will bless you for it.
  • Be still - You do not need to be terrified so long as you believe that God will fight for you and be willing to be on the battlefield for you.

May these things be a motivation for you to not go into a fight when you are being persecuted.

We Are Not Alone

Life is complicated if we are the only ones facing the giants. Obviously, the word "giant" is terrifying because it is huge and we will never be able to fight that because we do not have the power to knock it out, only God's might can. If we do not have God in our lives and once we encountered hardships and persecution, we might be doing evil things already or worse we have given up our lives because we did not win the battle for not being able. That's why it is important that we have God in our lives because He is able and we are not. He is the only one who can fight for us as He already overcome the world.

Trust the process that God has for us because He will never lead us to something bad. Having faith in Him is after the miracles. We may not see what He is doing but know that He is faithful to us and that no matter how bad the storm may appear, God calms and make it clear.

God is with us in every trial. Choose to seek Him and ask for His help instead of doing the things that you only know but will only end up defeated. If we want victory, it is in God's hands not in us. Always believe that we are the warriors and not the worriers.

Bible Verse

Allow me to share this verse with you all.

2 Timothy 3:12-15

Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
