How Is God Blessing You?

I know there are people who are curious about how is God blessing us or what are His ways to do it. Well, actually there are a few things that I can share about it and what is amazing here is He is not just blessing you directly, sometimes you are becoming the channel so He can also bless others. It is so amazing that God has these different ways of blessing His people when He can bless us directly. God will bless His people not because He just wants to but because it will always be out of love.

Here are a few things to know about how God blesses us:

1. God blesses us because of His love for us

This is so true. Our God will never bless us if He doesn't love us. He truly cares for us even if we have lots of failures in life. When we failed about doing something, He never lets us feel that we are losers when our knees hit the ground because of pain or anxiety and feel hopeless, instead, He always gives us His hand and holds us to help us to get up. That's our Father God, He will not leave you even in your sad moments. He continues to help us find hope in Him. He comforts us when our heart is aching and He gives clarity when our minds are confused about something. God is all we ever need.

2. God blesses us even though we don’t deserve it

When God blesses His people, it is unconditional. He can everything in us. The way we speak and act, He can see that. And for as long as we are here on earth, there will be chances of sinning. Remember, from one of my articles, He gives us grace and through the Holy Spirit, we are being led to righteousness. We can never be perfect but we can definitely be forgiven so long as we repent. The point here is, even if we are sinning, God still continues to bless us out of love. When He blesses His people He doesn't base it on our good works. He provides and blesses us even if we don't deserve it. And that is the grace of God.

3. God blesses our lives if we obey Him

When we obey God, it glorifies Him which He really deserves because He is God almighty. When His word is meditated in us, we follow Him. If we love God, we follow Him. Just like our parents, if we obey them and honor them, we get something from them, and reward us for being so obedient and not being stubborn. And so does God, He rewards us or blesses us more than we deserve when He is seeing us obeying Him. Let's be good children to our Father God because He has done so many things in our lives and never left us when we needed Him the most. That's how He cares for us, even if we are not perfect in following His word, His love for us stays the same and unchanging. Praise our God for not leaving us no matter what the situation we are in.

4. God blesses us to become witnesses to others

Sometimes the reason why we are experiencing hardships is that it is one of God's ways to teach us so we can learn something from Him. Once we have learned what God is teaching us, God will make a way for us to share it with others. For example, even if you did not ask your friend to catch up but suddenly you saw each other in a restaurant and then she opened up about what she has been going through and that can be considered saying something and sharing what you have learned from your experience in the past. I just find God so cute when He does His amazing ways because when He teaches us, He makes sure that something will plant in us and someday will bear fruit so we can share with others how God changes our lives, how He made us so stronger than before and how our faith become unwavering. God is so amazing.

5. God blesses us to bless other people

Since God can see us from above, He knows if we are lacking something or not, if we are in need of something or not. When He blesses us it doesn't mean that it is only for us, sometimes God is making us as a channel to bless others. For example, you receive a monetary bonus and you know that it is going to be an extra, God can let you meet a person that would need money because they are lacking to pay their bills and as a channel, we will lend them money or give some of what we have received. Whatever we receive and everything that we have is not ours, it is God's, so it is just to share, lend and give to others.

What Are Blessings From God

Genesis 1:28

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth…” They are blessed with anointed children raised in the ways of the Lord. God is attracted to and blesses a family where the father instructs the children in the ways of the Lord.

What comes into your mind when you hear the word "blessing"? How deeply do we understand the word "blessing"? Sometimes we only say the word blessing or blessed if we have received something that happened in our lives to be thankful for and most of the time if it is about material things. Though there is nothing wrong with saying we are blessed if we have received material things, especially if we have worked hard for them because God is giving us what we deserve. I hope we get to understand the word "blessing or blessed" more deeply by praying for others especially if they haven't known who really God is and how He works. Through that we are being blessed as well, we may not receive material things when we do that but our hearts are being molded the same with our character because it is one way of doing something selfless.

Here are some of the blessings from God:

1. Salvation

The most beautiful blessing that we could ever receive from God because when we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will no longer live by sight, our character and heart are being molded, we are born again and our past will be washed away. When we have salvation in our lives, our life will start to depend on our Lord, He will become the center of every area of our lives. We will have a deeper understanding that we are not in control but God is.

2. Forgiveness

While we are living here on earth, we are sinners, but through the grace of God and the Holy Spirit, we are being directed to the right path and righteousness. God forgave us when Jesus Christ sent us on earth and paid for our sins. God loves us so much that's why He did that. Until now God continues to forgive our sins only if we repent. It is inevitable to commit sin here on earth, that's why when Jesus is already your Lord and Savior, you will never sin easily because the Holy Spirit will guide you to righteousness.

3. Our eternal life with Jesus

When we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are already saved. Which means that once we die we will go to heaven. Please know that doing good works while we are here on earth will never be the basis of going to heaven, it is by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Receiving the gift of eternal life with God is one of the greatest blessings we could ever have because when we are already in heaven, we no longer have to suffer, to be sad and there will always be joy and love in our hearts.

Why Does God Bless Us

He blesses us in order to be a blessing to others. If you are blessed with a relationship with God, He wants you to share that with others so that they can find a relationship with God too. God didn't give you all sorts of blessings so that you would hoard them for yourself. He wants you to pass it on to others as well. We may not know what God's ways are but if you think about it more deeply, it is just so amazing that He doesn't care for one or a group of people to bless but all of us are being blessed, it's just that it is all in different ways.

The ultimate reason why God blesses us is that He loves us so much. He cares for us and He can see what we are doing and what is happening to us. When He is watching over us, He knows everything we need and whatever our hearts desire. Put God in the center of your life.

Genesis 12:1-3

Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your family and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make a great nation out of you. I will bless you and make your name great so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

We should be more thankful for our spiritual blessings. Christ has saved us from death and the wrath of God.

Because of Him, we are in God’s family. This is a blessing we should all cherish more. Because of this one blessing, we get many more such as we get to enjoy God.
