Do We Need to Do Our Best Even God Can Work for Us?

Feeling tired lately? It is okay. If you feel sad or disappointed, it's okay. Love, you are not meant to be strong all the time. As long as you do your best, it's alright.

The Lord sees you. He sees every effort you put into your work. When you do your best to please Him, He sees it all. However, He also understands that sometimes, you reach your limit. There are days when you can only give your 70%, 50%, or 30%. However, the Lord still appreciates that you try. Do not fear to fail, for as long as you do it with grace. The Lord will be the first to appreciate your works.

We still need to do our best because no one will do it for us here on Earth. Indeed, God will fight for us because He is an all-powerful, and all-loving God. We are only humans, His ability and ways are higher and those are way too far from what we can do. We have limits, but God is omnipotent, He is the only one who can sustain us. Every effort that we give out in our works will not be enough without the grace of God. That's why when we are working on something, we need the grace of God, so whenever our body is about to give up, the grace of God will work for us.

When we are going to work on something that will need so much strength, we need someone to sustain us and that is God. So we don't just work but pray first before starting our day with our tasks or chores to be done.

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

How Does God See you?

We all have different looks and different styles when wearing clothes and different personalities but then God doesn't see us with all these things. Because what matters to Him is our hearts that are eager to know God every day, hungry for God's word, and thirsty for God's love. Any material things in this world will not matter to God. We know that what we have in our lives is just made by humans and even if you have them all or plenty or lack of something, it will never be the basis of God on how He sees us.

God is aware of our imperfections and He never expects us to do better every day. We fail too and that is normal. Only in the eyes of God how perfect we are for Him. He is also aware that anytime we will run out of strength and we will need Him, that's why He is always ready to help and wait for us to seek and ask Him.

Just because we fail to do something important in our daily tasks or chores or achieve something related to our job or studies doesn't mean we are failures and not good at all. Remember, God is our source of everything that we may need here on earth. He is our provider when we lack something, He is our comforter when we are too down because of the failure we just faced, and He is our sustainer whenever our body is about to say stop. We may not see how God works in us but one thing is for sure, even if your body will say stop, so long as our spirit is hungry with God's miracle, everything is possible. Please know that we are not a failure when we fail to achieve something. God sees you as the kind of person who will stand up again when your knees hit the ground while He is giving you strength to continue and never give up.

Galatians 3:26-28
For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Seeing Yourself as God Sees You

The way we see ourselves is way different from how God sees us. When we allow ourselves to see the way God sees us we will have more confidence in Him and not just in ourselves that He can win the battle for us and all by ourselves. We may be imperfect while living here on earth, but in the eyes of God, we are more than that because we are His children.

Our failures are just something that will make us grow and will let us do better. If we are not failing and if we are always on top, how are we going to know that we are improving and growing? I hope that's how we see failures in our lives, take it positively that it will make you grow and learn something instead of allowing it to destroy you.

Let us change how we look at failure, may we see it as a tool to get improved, learned something, and grow from this day forward.

Remind yourself about these 3 things that God says about you:

1. He calls what is not into being.

2. He looks at the heart, not at the outside.

3. God treasures intentions more than results.

John 15:15
No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

Bible Verses

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
