Prayer teams intercede with God for others.

Prayer teams intercede with God for others.

Prayer teams consist of pray-ers who consistently, intentionally intercede with God on behalf of people or causes to which they are committed. They also nurture their own spirituality. We usually think of church leaders and church projects as their main focus; but in these days of unprecedented complexities, prayer teams within and without the congregation have committed to praying for health professionals, educators, politicians, families, communities, the entire nation.

People need people now more than ever. For those who believe in the power of prayer, the prayer team is among the most necessary, supportive, enriching groups to which they can belong. The following quotes aim to encourage members of existing teams, as well as individuals who consider starting or joining one. Be encouraged to pray for yourself and for others.
