I start out with a poem and reflection. I add my thoughts about Rick Warren's book "The Purpose Driven Life.'

Poem Plus Thoughts About Rick Warren Book " The Purpose Driven Life."

is for sure

every moment

is still

to breathe

in hope

This poem was inspired by a Facebook friend who wrote a poem about the forgetfulness of life in general. I kept thinking and thinking about how to comment in a way that would help the person posting this thought-provoking poem to feel his heart lightened.

Life is uncertain; however, that should not leave our hearts without the design to breathe in the everlasting hope for life.

We can not assume what today will bring; however, we can look at each day knowing there is a way out of hopelessness.

Reasons for Hope

Our Purpose--Everyone, in my opinion, has a purpose designed by our Creator.

Rick Warren, the author of the book, "The Purpose Driven Life" also has words of profound meaning at the bottom of the front of his book. It says-- What on earth am I here for?

This book may change how you feel about your existence. It is sometimes explained by a Bible passage how God knew what he was doing from the beginning of time. We were not accidents, and how His love knitted us together with a plan before conception.

On page 311 of his book, he has a Bible verse to help others feel balanced.

Ephesians 5:15 (Ph)--"Live life with a due sense of responsibility, not as those who do not know the meaning of life but as those who do."

Rick Warren's book is about hope and promise, the challenges, and his distilled wisdom about what he believes life to be about from our very beginning.

Here is a thought from Rick Warren about our quality of life from his book on page 202.

"God develops the fruit of the spirit by allowing you to experience circumstances in which you're tempted to express the exact opposite quality."

This information will hopefully help others build confidence within themselves for the rest of their lives. Life is too precious to go around feeling lost and forgotten; good or bad as it may seem, it is full of lessons to ponder. Start and end each day by believing in a divine purpose that we are not accidents; we have been placed on this earth for important reasons.

I believe people are in this world to help people in need. By helping others in need, we can learn patience, understanding, and love.

In the many years of my life, I have learned many things. The most important thing I have learned is to value life like a diamond and hold your head up high because you are of great value.

People in their golden years feel less important and confused. Maybe their confusion is to help others learn patience with their situation.

My mother had dementia before her passing, and I can tell you I learned to be more patient and appreciate every moment. Every life has a purpose until the end of time. Learn from them each time you speak or hold their hands as well.

This information is not intended to force my religion on anyone. My thoughts about my poem and the information about the book "The Driven Purpose Life" to the best of my knowledge.
