Jesus Christ The One and Only Way

One Way

One Way

Don't forsake your faith

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

We live in a day and age where pastors are walking away from ministry and Christians are leaving churches like never before. Many churches are merging with other congregations or shutting down. False doctrines are everywhere and believers need to be encouraged to not forsake their faith. Paul admonished the Hebrews to not forget their hope in the second coming and we today need to encourage ourselves and the rest of His body to keep the blessed hope ever before us.

Titus 2;13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The Apostle John has given seven declarations that Jesus made about Himself. We should keep these ever before us to remind us who He is.

1. The Way

I Am the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Me. (John 14:6).

When He says I Am it means He is and believers should take Him at His word. There are many religions and false doctrines and true followers of Christ need to keep this in mind.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death

The only way to heaven is through the blood of Christ. Never forget that truth. Be on guard against those who deny this basic tenant of Christianity. Be careful not to let those of other belief systems pull you away from what you know to be true. You can boost your faith by remembering Him often with bread and taking communion at home:

Knock on the door

Knock on the door

The Door

John 10;9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

The Resurrected Christ

The Resurrected Christ

The Resurrection

John 11;25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Faith in the resurrection of Christ is the key to eternal salvation. When life happens or prayers are not answered, hold fast to your confession of faith. Thomas believed after He saw the nail prints but Jesus said those who believe without seeing are blessed. We must always be able to say like Job, I know my Redeemer lives.

Nicole Mullin sings that He is alive and there is an empty grave. THE TOMB IS EMPTY.

Jesus the light of the world

Jesus the light of the world

The Light of the world

John 8;12 I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

Daniel Wynans sang that He would tell everybody wherever he went:

Walk in the light, beautiful light come where the dewdrops of mercy shine bright

Shine all around us by day and by night, Jesus the light of the world.

The good shepherd

The good shepherd

The Good Shepherd

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

He loves us and will never leave us for forsake us. He gave His life for us so we must live for Him.

The bread of life

The bread of life

The bread of life

And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst." -John 6:35

Bread of heaven sent down from glory

Jesus Jesus that's what we call you

Manger born put on a tree

You died to save humanity.

The living word.

The true vine

The true vine

The Vine

John 15: 1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
