Hymn of Victory and Praise

Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days

Composer’s Foreword

I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.

The Composed Song

1. I will cause captivity

Of my people to return

And I will build them up like before

And I will also cleanse them

From all their iniquity

All their iniquities ‘ll ‘so pardon

Praise thou ye, Oh the Lord

And the Lord of the hosts

For that the Lord is very good

And mercy endureth forever

Praise thou ye, Oh the Lord

2. Their names will I also change

And I ‘ll give them a new name

They will not be termed forsaken again

Nor ‘ll they be called desolate

Because I have redeemed them

I, myself am the one who hath saved them

3. I will wipe their tears away

Their reproach will I remove

All the people that ‘v waited for me

They will be full of my joy

They will have abundant peace

Their heart will rejoice at my salvation

4. Their souls will also be like

A garden that is watered

They will not walk in sorrow again

The young ones and the old ones

And the females and the males

Will all sing a new song unto my name

5. Give ye praise unto the Lord

All ye people that’s call His’

For the miracle the Lord hath done

He hath healeth our land

He has also deliver’d us

He has lift us above all enemies.
