Are your goals set higher?

I don't have any achievements about writing but I love writing. It's one of the things that I love to do.

What is your goal?

How did you set it?

Is it based on your expertise or your passion?

Do you plan on setting your goal higher?

There's this saying says,

"Unless you try to do something beyond on what you have already mastered, you will never grow."

Philippians 3:13-14

Reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Are we pressing forward? If yes. Are we pressing forward to. Tge higb calling of God?

Below are the things that can help you answer the question.

Setting goals higher than what you can do.

Setting goals higher is not being greedy or ambitious. It's pushing yourself to do more. To do more for for your family, to do more for others, to do more for yourself, above all, to do more for God.

As you step on another level. As you grow older. Your goal becomes little. You only want to finish school and just work for your future and to buy things that you want. But life is more than that. It's about fulfilling your purpose. Fulfilling your goal.

Life is a trip. Our destination is our goal. Should we be contented on the things, on the that we have reached so far? Are we contented on what we are now?

No, we shouldn't be. Let's aim for more. Let's set a higher goal. The higher it is the greater the happiness, satisfaction and fulfillment.

Jesus set the goal for our salvation.

Out of His great love for us, for all humanity. Human who's not worthy of His suffering, and death. He accepted those beatings, poured His blood on the calvary, on that cruel cross, by the hand of human. He accepted those painful words from the people He died for. He chose to be nailed on that cross, away from His comfort zone, away from the presence of the Father. He set the highest goal to died for us.

"Christ was treated as we deserve, that we might have be treated as He deserve. He was condemned for our sins, in which He had no share, that we might be justified by His righteousness, in which we had no share. He suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His."-

Desire of Ages, p4.19

He did all those things for us. He have reach auch highest goal for us then, what can we do for Him?

Let us set our goal higher.

If we can sing for people, let us sing more for God. If we can teach people, let us teach more for God. Never let the fear to envelops us to stop using our talents for God's glory.

In the parable of talents, the two servants who set their goals above on what they can do receives victory (Matthew 25).

No one is stopping us to aim for more. To aim for the highest mountain, for the highest climb.

Let us set our sights, our goal higher. As we reach a goal, set a new one for His glory. Don't be intimidated! Our toughest goal can become our greatest triumph.
