Being a Christian is not easy but it is worth it because you know that someone is fighting for you with the battles you face

Be a Blessing

I remember when I was a child, we used to live in a small house and live a life in most simply. I am not from a wealthy family and I did not have a life full of abundance. It was all simple.

In my childhood days, I used to celebrate my birthday in our house and invited some close friends and relatives. My mom and aunts prepared spaghetti, hotdogs on sticks, chocolate cake, chicken pops, and salad and organized the balloons, party hats, and gifts. That's how I celebrated my birthday, it was mostly held at home. If I am not mistaken, there was just one time when my family and I went to the mall to celebrate one of my birthdays during my childhood. I have never experienced having an elegant birthday celebration. I have never experienced having so much in life when I was a kid, I grew up in a simple family.

I am sharing this because I know the feeling of not having so much in life, I know the feeling of lacking in some things. I have experienced borrowing stuff with my cousins because I do not have enough money to buy and the same with the books I used from school, since one of my cousins is a year older than me, I borrowed his books so I won't have to buy for myself.

Things to Be Considered Why We Should Be a Blessing to Others

God taught us how to be good to others, especially to those who are in need.

- If we have experience in the position of the in-need people.

- Helping one another will definitely glorify our God in heaven.

- Let's remind ourselves that everything we have, are all came from God.

- We are all children of God, if God has just helped one of us, let's help our brothers and sisters too.

- We have a heart to use and God teaches us to help others.

- The reason why we can love others is that God loves us first.

Straight From the Heart

We all have the capability of helping others in so many ways. Because God wants us to be Christ-like.

Sample of simple acts to help others:

- Helping a friend with his/her homework

- Helping your siblings in doing the household chores

- Getting all paperwork done with your colleague in the office

- Giving food and drinks to the needy

- Helping the elderly to cross the street.

These are small acts that will make other people feel valued and loved.

Helping people with a simple act could be a big blessing to others. More importantly, if this simple act came from the heart, you will not even think of getting something in return.

Let's not allow the busy days of our lives to hinder us from helping others, at the end of the day, anyone of us will need help as well. Being a blessing to others is going to give you so much joy in your heart and at the same time, you are glorifying God in that simple act.

God Bless Those Who Gives

God is the ultimate provider to all of us. Anything we need that we can ask Him, He will give it to us without any hesitations, that's how He loves us, that's how good our God is. He never let His children be unhappy. He gives so much to us like an overflowing blessing.

Remember how good our God is, and it will never be hard for us to help others as well. The more we give or share with others, the more our God blesses us, even if we don't deserve something, He will still give it.

God Provides by His Love for Us

God bless me with so much in life not just about material things but also He will give you something to learn and grow as a person. He molds my character, He uses me to help others, He provides for me so I can also provide for my family, He is always beside me because He knows that I can never do things alone, He gives me strength when I am weak and above all this, He loves me unconditionally. And for me, these are some of the things how giving has blessed my life

I hope all of us would understand that God will not just provide us with material things, but He mostly provides ways for us to be good to others, and more Christ-like so long as we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

May we all remember that we can always help and share with others because God always provides.
