How the Love of God Becomes a Story

We all know the meaning of love, being loved, and loving someone but have we ever tried to have a deep thought about the meaning of love? People would love because they feel something special about the person, or because they really care about the person but then again, we don't really know the deeper meaning of love.

Love started to exist here on earth because of God. He sent His only son Jesus Christ for us because He loves us. According to the Bible in 1 John 4:19, "We love because He first loved us"

God's love becomes a story in each person because there are a lot of things that He is working on in us. He could be preparing for your partner in life that before the two of you meet, He will mold your character first so you can be perfect for each other. We all know that God can give us whatever we ask Him, but He will not just give it right away in the same way as you want it to be because remember God's ways are higher and amazing and absolutely different from our ways.

Here are some of the things that God can do because of His love for us:

1. He allows hardships to be experienced by us

Sometimes God does this especially if He sees that we are the stubborn ones. He can use a lot of things and people when He allows this to happen in our lives. A good example would be, having a difficult boss in your office. You know and you can see that your boss is like having a bad day during or after every meeting, you are being reprimanded when things are not going well until you almost cry and quit your job. Please know that if you are in this kind of situation, you are not alone, and instead of complaining about why it is happening, try to ask God, "What do you want me to learn from this hardship Lord?" We may not know the exact reason why He is allowing this hardship to happen but one thing is for sure He is always at work and He would want us to be patient and obedient.

2. He puts you in a long time waiting

We all have our own prayers and we have been asking God about something or someone to be part of our lives but guess what, God doesn't give it in just one snap of a finger because remember, God is not a genie that will give us everything as exact as how we prayed for it. God has His own amazing ways that we will never understand for now but in time we will. God will not explain things for us to understand how He works but through the Holy Spirit and His wisdom, we are getting the idea and we are being led to righteousness. In our waiting season, I know this is not easy, we are all waiting for what we are praying for, and sometimes, the possible reason why He is making us wait is that while waiting so much longer, He is making something the best for us and molding us into a new version of ourselves.

3. He makes us lack something

This is possible and true that sometimes we lack something because God is allowing this to happen. If we want to know more about God and if we have this hunger in us to know who really God is, He will definitely introduce himself to us. We all know that God is our sustainer, provider, promise keeper, healer, and most especially a Father to all of us so for us to know that He is really a provider, He will make us lack so we would know that He is truly a provider. God is so eager for us to come closer to Him and ask Him every day. He wants His children to be in need of their Father. God will never leave us during tough times, He can give everything just simply come to God and He will never be hesitant to provide for you and sustain you. Remember that all we have here on earth are blessings from God.

Why Do We Share the Love of God to Others

The love of God for us becomes a story every time we encounter hardships, lack, and pain in our lives, and God will heal, provide and give us strength. When someone helped us and made our day from the darkest hour, what do you do? Do you just keep it to yourself? When you have received plenty when you were in lack, aren't you going to share the good news?

Not all people have already known God. We may not have the same knowledge about how good is God to us but one thing that God wants us to know, He loves us so much that whatever we ask Him, He will provide. Our story about knowing God because of His love becomes a testimony when we share it others. This is not to brag about what you have encountered with God but for other people to know and experience God too.

Also, the story that we have which is the love of God can be shared with others so we can also bless others. Remember, God, blesses us so we can also bless others. Not everything will be given to us. God will not let us hoard everything because He is teaching us the way He is loving His people and that is to share or to bless others too. God's love is selfless and that's what God would like to do as well.

Here are some of the things why we should share about God's love with others:

1. Whatever hardship we have experienced in life can be a blessing to others when we share because it will be a guide for them so they will not be lost while trying to get off that situation. When we have asked God's help, He'll be happy to see that His children are sharing different stories with the same testimony.

2. Just because we are so blessed by God doesn't mean all of them are ours. Sometimes God will make us a channel as a way to bless others too. The ways of God are so amazing that sometimes would even make you cry because through sharing you just made one's life becomes healthier and full of hope again.

3. God is love and so God is teaching us to love others too. When we have experienced a storm in our lives, we know that it will be over soon because it is just temporary and will not stay longer for us. So when the sun rises, it gave us hope again. We all know that storms in life will not just be experienced by one person in this world, all of us will have the most difficult situation in life and it is a blessing when someone shared with you how they have overcome it. You wouldn't know how much it would mean to others. So let's be a blessing to one another.

Bible Verses

Luke 8:39
“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.

Psalm 71:15-18
My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge. With the mighty deeds of the Lord God, I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone. O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.

Titus 3:3-7
For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

2 Timothy 1:8-9
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.
