Is it God or Religion?

What makes the world go around? When asked this question, most people respond with the most common answer of, money. But, I would argue that it is love that makes the world go around. Most importantly, it is God’s love for humanity that has our earth in motion. El Shaddai in the Hebrew language, meaning God Almighty. God is almighty, nonetheless. His awesome power, love and forgiveness are His strongest attributes. Look nature and people around you. Do you see evolution or creation at work? Do you see a religion or the invisible hand of God at work?

It is God's Love

It is God’s love that wrote the laws, statutes, and commandments for His followers and people to live by. And He also allows for us to be forgiven when we fall short of grace and that of the glory of God. Without salvation we cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Romans 3:23-28 (KJV)

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”

Hebrews 10:9-18 (KJV)

“Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Romans 10:13 (KJV)

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Please say this prayer

“Father God,

I know that I’m a sinner. And I believe that you love me. I believe that you sent your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins and arose from the dead on the third day. I ask that Jesus come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. Please sent your Holy Spirit to guide me throughout my life. I thank you Jesus Christ for forgiving me of my sins. And I thank you for setting me free this day, that I am born again. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.”
