Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days

Composer's Foreword

Kings in the olden days are those who rule the people, by their authorities things are executed in the towns and cities before the advent of democracy.

It is when democracy becomes institutionalised that their power and might in many countries where they have been holding sway plummeted.

They were like presidents (or prime ministers) in the present day government, very powerful.

Thinking about God as King or President who wields greatest authority before whom other presidents or Kings bow, one cannot but stand in awe of Him. Having him therefore as one's advocate, Defender, one is sure of victory because others are subjected to him.

This thought becomes great for me and I decide to bless him with this song of praises.

Thank you.

Composed Song

1) The Great King, oh the King of kings

Before whom kings of earth tremble

They lay their crowns and bow to you Lord

Oh the King of kings

A man of war...

2) Oh great God, you 're the greatest Shepherd

Leading the flock to where green pastures are

You nourished them they lack not a thing

Greatest Shepherd of flock

A man of war...

3) You are a Sculptor as well as a Potter

In your wisdom you created the world

You are the One who Created humans

Even in your image

A man of war...

4) A special priest you are oh Lord

The highest priest who suffered like us

You 've passed even into the heavens Lord

Jesus the Son of God

A man of war...

5) My Advocate, My Defender

My beginning, yea my ending

You are the Alpha and the Omega

Great Praise belongs to you

A man of war...
