Composer's Foreword

At a time or another in life if not always we look forward to receive good fortune from the Lord.

Those who received good fortunes from the Lord are always seen to be special and some people start to envy them.

Having experienced stagnancy in most of the phases of my life for some years, my heart yearns to have God's good fortunes, a complete turn around for good from what others have known me for, a total change of name from the acronyms, aliases that some have given me which are not mine, therefore, i composed this song to prayerfully through songs present my case to God to shower on me His good fortunes.

Lovers of music may also desire this kind of blessings from the Lord and anyone who so desires this can join me to sing this song.

Link of the tune used has been shared alongside this published work.

Thank you.

Composed Song

Leader

I have groped in darkness

In darkness of the world

Seeking fortunes for myself

But, the more I seek for light

(It's) Darkness (that) covered me

Chorus/Instrumentals

Leader

Assistances that I sought for

From peers and relatives

I never get them

But now I 've turned to you Lord

Please assist my life

Chorus

Leader

Your good fortune located

Your Friend and father of faith

Who is Father Abraham

Lord by faith I'm Abraham's child

Give me your good fortune

Chorus

Leader

Mary mother of Jesus

You sought out among maidens

Living during her days

You faced her and specially bless'd her

Out of maidens on earth

Chorus

Leader

Time is not on my side

Remember me for your good

I look always 'nto you

Lord command your good fortune

To locate my life

Chorus

Thanks Pamela for this wonderful stepwise analysis of this song. I just composed the song as the inspiration comes leaving the rest to musical enthusiasts and gurus to do the rest.

There is what is called division of labor and this also works in music too, some people will compose and some will modify, arrange, fine tune while some will yet sing the song. Everything aims at blessing humanity in different facets.... Thanks for your comment.

This is a like a poem (Or song) of longing, then turning to God, pleading to be blessed. This is a sweet song, Olusegun.
