A Hymn: Remember Me, O My God, for Good

Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days

Composer’s Foreword

I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.

The Composed Song

1. I have carried my cross even I’m following Thee

Oh Thou Savior that died for me

I forgo the worldly things, I cleave unto the cross

Of the Christ who has laid down his life

Thou. Thou, Thou my God

Remember me oh my God

And even for thine Good

Thou should remember me for the Good

2. Sometimes back I was living within utter darkness

Drinking sin even like a water

But when I even heard the word of thine grace

I turned away even from all my sins

3. I have even forsaken the world and its works

And I have cleaved unto thy word

Yea, I do not conform even to this present world

But I ‘ve been transformed in my heart

4. I ‘ve not seen you before, yet I have believed Thee

Oh Thou who art the lamb of God

Who hast even been slain from foundation of the world

To be sacrificed for sins of men

5. All these ‘member ye, oh Thou word of God

Who hath even been from the beginning

Brought together with God indeed you are one

Riches and honor are even with Thee
