Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days

Composer’s Foreword

I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.

The Strife is O'er, The Battle Done (Victory)

The Composed Song

1. Prove ye also all of the things

Evidently before ye do

All of the things you want to do

Prove ye all things

2. Believe ye not every spirit

But you should try everyone of them

To even know the one that is of God

Prove ye all things

3. Even there be many false prophets

Yea and also many false teachers

Who have gone out into our midst

Prove ye all things

4. Many there be who ‘re false brothers

Yea and also those who ‘re false sisters

Who even have been clothed like sheep

Prove ye all things

5. And by their fruits ye shall know ‘em

Those who are wolves in sheep clothing

You should not let them deceive you

Prove ye all things

6. You should be careful of yourself

And thou should always be praying

So not to fall into their hands

Prove ye all things
