It is never too late for anyone to discover his/herself in life. Discovering this talent of writing makes me feel elated...

Composer’s Foreword

I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.

Let Us with a Gladsome Mind

The Composed Song

1. When you have fallen into

Different types of temptation

Count everything to be joy

Because I am even with you

2. When you go through the waters

Yea the world’s evil waters

Neither fear nor be afraid

Because I am even with you

3. When thou art in the rivers

The evil rivers of the world

R‘member they ‘ll not overflow thee

Because I am even with you

4. When thou walkest through the fire

Thou ‘ll not even be burnt

Nor its flame kindle ‘pon thee

Because I am even with you

5. In the daytime when thou art in

Sun of the world that is hot

Neither fear nor be afraid

Because I am even with you

6. During the midnight period

Moon of evil will not ‘ven shine

Upon thine head thou my child

Because I am even with you

7. Also when the storm arose

Unto thee in thine journey

Let your faith be reposed in me

Because I am even with you

8. fear thou not I ‘ve redeemed you

Ihave called thee by thy name

Thou even belong to me

Fear thou not I am thy God

E seun anti mi (translation Thanks my elder sister). I do not know musical notes, but it is my strong believe that if I can compose it using hymns when those who know musical notes see it, then can supply the musical notes and perhaps make other additions if they like, subtractions, and so on that would make the work globally acceptable. This is because no one knows it all, and apart from that most of the people who composed the hymns before their demise they do not know musical notes but after the compositions some people would help them, arrange it and put the notes there and today it has become world accepted songs. That is my dream, that is my aim "anti mi".

Thanks, I appreciate thine comment and contributions to this ma.

Stay Safe under the canopy of Jesus the Christ.

Warmest love from me in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria to the brethren and family over there.

I love it when you use musical notes. It adds to your inspiring stories. I grew up singing the hymns and you bring back childhood memories.

I am in my church choir and sang 'Let us with a Gladsome Mind' last Sunday. Your version really spoke to me and is so reassuring.
