A Hymn: Heal Me, Oh Lord
Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days
Composer’s Foreword
I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.
Jesus Is the Same Forever
The Composed Song
1. Heal me, I shall even be healed
Save me and I shall be saved
Because thou solely even is
The way, the Life and the Truth
I called unto thee thou my Lord
In my sickness and ‘firmity
Touch thou me with your hand of healing
As you did to Simeon’s in-law
2. Heal me, I shall even be healed
Save me and I shall be saved
‘Cause it is for our ‘niquities
That is why you have been bruised
And the chastisement of our peace
Was even ‘pon his body
And with the stripes of his body
Through them we ‘ve also been healed
3. Heal me, I shall even be healed
Save me and I shall be saved
Because at the evening period
When the sun has even set
They brought them who were diseased
That thou may even heal them
And thou have touched them with your hand
And thou have even health them
4. Heal me, I shall even be healed
Save me and I shall be saved
‘Cause you alone have the power
To do the redemptive work
Those troubleth by spirit of devil
They brought all of them ‘to Thee
Thou cast out those evil spirit
And thou have liberated them
5. Heal me, I shall even be healed
Save me and I shall be saved
Because thine even is above
All the names that are been called
In heav’n, earth an’ under the earth
There every knee even bow
And every tongue even confess
That Jesus Christ is the Lord
