A Hymn: Comfort to the Weeping Ones
Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days
Composer’s Foreword
I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.
The Composed Song
1. The sins of the people of God
Have grieved the heart of God
And he has handed them over
Unto their enemies
2. The enemies invaded the land
They kill, they maim an’ destroy
Many inhabitants of the land
Were hostages of war
3. We have even heard in Ramah
Weeping and lamentation
The elders and the remnant ones
Were weeping for the loss
4. The weeping ones have rejected
All forms of human comfort
‘Cause their comfort are vain and vague
Devoid of solution
5. The Lord has sent his word unto them
Yea its message of comfort
That this they even need to do
Refrain voice from weeping
6. They ‘ve got to refrain from weeping
‘Cause their works ‘ll be rewarded
Everything carted off by enemies
Shall be restored unto them
7. Even in their ends there is hope
For their hopelessness ‘ll vanish
And their children shall come again
Even to their own borders
8. brethren therefore do not lose hope
Accept the comforting words
Of Yahweh the Almighty God
For it ‘ll be well with thee
