A Hymn: Christ Is Made Our Propitiation

Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days

Composer’s Foreword

I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.

The Composed Song

1. Mercy is a love that

Responds to human needs

God’s mercy responds to our needs

In a special way

It gives us what we don’t

Even merit at all

Because he is even our dear father

And he loves us

2. Yea mercy is God being

Patient with us his sons

For he knows we are but even flesh

Limited in scope

He’s extending His love to us

We who ought to be punished

Even according to the multitude

Of his tend’r mercies

3. Mercy chooses not to

Bring his judgment ‘mmediately

Like God did to Adam and Eve

In beautiful garden

He delayed his judgment

Making provisions for man

By sending his son to die for us

And redeem us

4. God’s mercy is beyond

The human u’derstanding

‘Cause by His mercies he also brings

Salvation to all

Christ is made propitiation

Through faith ‘ven in His blood

For anyone who comes to God

Even through Christ
