50 Good Morning Quotes from the Bible

What are your first thoughts on waking up in the morning? Whatever you think, or however you feel, it is wise to talk first with someone who will definitely inspire a good feeling within you and empower you to maintain a good morning spirit. The best access to a good morning is a conversation with God.

The quotes begin with lines that are appropriate for that first morning talk with God, followed by lines you can use to talk yourself into continuing the good mood. Then there are quotes which are appropriate for encouraging others, quotes which feed the mind with positive morning imageries and finally, reasons to thank God for the morning.

I'm a committed night owl who has had to become a morning person, and I enjoy the change. Morning is such a peaceful, quiet, and productive time, and I like to start the day off right with reflection and quotes. As my morning goes, so, too, does my day. Thus, I try to do it right. You present many thoughtful quotes for Christians to think about as they start their day. This was a good idea. I am sure it will bring peace, hope and solitude to many.

Hi Dora, Good to see you are still writing great idealistic hubs. There is nothing better than waking up and talking to the Lord through prayer and in normal conversation when God is at the forefront of mind... God bless!

I do enjoy my morning time in claiming the Lord God's promises in His Word. When I open my eyes, I am mindful to praise Him in just knowing how much He loves me and all of His many blessings He has bestowed upon me.

This is such a lovely read this Sunday morning and a good reminder for all of His unending love for us.

Peace and blessings

Lovely Dora. I love the concept for morning, but I am a night owl and it spoils my mornings. All joking aside, my favorite morning Scripture is the Lamentations 3 verse. What can be better than new mercies EVERY morning?

These are all wonderful quotes. The one that changed my life the most is Matthew 6: 31, 32. When I started living by that verse, my life became virtually stress free and God is taking very good care of me.

Very nice collection of morning reflections, prayers, and truths to ponder, pray, and practice. I especially liked the imagery section. I do have a set of Bible based prayers I like to pray in the morning some of which are included in your quotes. This is a good article to print and keep on hand for daily reference in those quiet morning moments with the Lord.

God bless!

Tamarajo, thanks for mentioning the imageries. I love figurative language and the sun makes such a perfect picture as in "Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts ." Enjoy your morning prayers and be blessed.

I'm a morning person, waking up early just seems right to me. All 50 quotes you have in this article are enlightening of course. This Bible quote stood out "And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful! (Psalm 90:17)" God approves our efforts of success if it's righteous.

Good Morning Ann. That quote you chose is among those I pray for children and me every morning. Thanks for your commentary on it--"if it's righteous."

Mo, I feel the same way about these quotes. For that same reason I reread them again and again. So happy that you also find them helpful.
