There are different reasons that the lives of people who accept Christ as Savior fall short of Christian standards. Maybe, they're willful hypocrites, so they don't deserve our attention. Or, maybe they're struggling and missing the mark. Paul counseled this group to "Keep on working with fear and trembling to complete your salvation." (Philippians 2:12 GNT) All believers have to grow spiritually, and they all need encouragement--not rebuke, not condemnation, not judgment. If those who have stronger characters will invest in the weaker ones, we will see more believers living closer to the standard set by Christ.
