I have Venus in Scorpio and am dating a guy who has Venus in Taurus. What scares me is that our signs are opposites, not only Venus, but the Suns too. He is an Aries, with Moon in Taurus and Mars in Pisces. I am a Capricorn, with Moon in Cancer, and Mars in Aquarius. He is a mysterious guy that makes him difficult to approach. He is a kind of close person that makes me unsure about his feelings and the stability of our relationship. Do you have any advice for me?

Answer

Firstly, if you are so unsure about the stability of the relationship, and of his feelings, I would stop right there and reconsider, before looking to astrology for the answers. You need to listen to your heart, your head, and use common sense if you are contemplating a serious relationship. Also, I had to correct this for about five minutes to be able to answer, so please, everyone, stop writing like you text. This is a writer's site, and none of you use capital letters, punctuation, or even sentences which actually make sense. I had to completely rewrite not only this, so don't be offended, but I am tired of doing this for many questions, I am an astrologer and writer, not an English teacher. Please write in classroom English.

Venus opposite Venus is not a bad thing. It means you want similar things out of love, and social life, you just go about it in different ways. Venus in Scorpio is more possessive and jealous, but can be loyal and passionate. Venus in Taurus is romantic and sensual, but also reliable and down to earth. So this is fine. If he is an Aries Sun and you are a Capricorn Sun, these signs are NOT opposite. They form what is called a square. They are both cardinal signs of leadership, so you both have ambitions and goals, and with those Venus signs, the will to carry them out, as they are both fixed or stubborn signs.

Your Mars in Aquarius squares his Venus in Taurus, but that's good for sexual chemistry. His Mars in Pisces makes him a dreamer, and he is sensitive. The Moons in Taurus and Cancer are great, both of you want security in love to a certain degree. Basically, you need to communicate so you don't both always insist on your own way. You are both reasonably faithful and want to be in a partnership. You also are both pretty down to earth.

I don't see anything really bad here that would cause problems. Of course, it's not a whole chart, I don't know what houses any of this is in, or what aspects any of these or the planets you don't tell me are. The sign opposite Aries is Libra. As an Aries, he's fun to be with, and they usually put their loves on a pedestal. His Moon is great with yours, he wants stability. He can be a little lazy with Mars in Pisces, but is probably very creative and artistic. So something else must be making you unsure. Your Mars in Aquarius means you like a bit of freedom. Otherwise, it looks fine to me. See how it goes. But trust your intuition, OK?
