The Path Where Your Love Lead Me To!!

Misbah has always wanted to pursue writing as a career. She loves to do poetry in her free time. She loves to write on different topics...

Living a life or driving on road

Life itself is a journey. Some people cross through straight roads like a highway — a smooth road with no traffic signals, only little challans to be paid when you Overspeed. Others have a different road to drive on. Fully loaded traffic on the road with bumps and speed breakers on it every now and then.

Every person on earth is driving on the roads to reach their destinations. The eternal life, a never-ending one. The roads are different for each person, the routes are different, but the destination is the same. Like a google map, it gives you five different routes to reach a single destination. You choose what you think is good for you.

Then comes the errors, which the Google Maps app makes when you are almost about the destination. It says to take a u-turn, there is an accident ahead or a traffic jam ahead. That's what happens in life when you get close to achieving something. Often you realize I am on the wrong track, or the people surrounding you make you awake from a deep sleep, saying, dude, you are going wrong...

But about life there will be very rare u-turns, as they say, life never gives a second chance. If ever you find u-turns in life. You will realize that some of them you don't like to take, and some of them you ignore as you think you are stuck and there is no way back.

The truth is that life is a long way to drive taking shortcuts can often lead to serious accidents. They can give internal injuries that one cannot see through naked eyes. People will tell you there is no wound, but the heart will feel pain. The brain will tell you how to tackle people, but the heart will cry aloud.

How restless is to be a human. God blessed us with two things: a brain and a heart. The biggest problem is both features don't listen to each other. An open war every time.

For me, I would say I have more listened to what my heart says than my brain. I would not say I never failed in life because most of the time I failed badly. But still, I love my heart because it is soft, it is kind, it still makes me feel I have not done wrong to anyone, at least. It keeps my inner satisfied

I never like to discuss my problems with anyone, not even with the ones whom I am very close to, because I know no one can help me but my Lord can. So why not to discuss it with the Almighty.

If you are still reading and not getting bored, then I am happy that you are nice and gentle, too. Today through my poem I will tell you how my heartache made me close to my God. The Almighty, my listener, listens to me even after knowing everything.

The Poem - Love finds Its way

In the darkroom,

You were my only light,

You said you will stay,

But you hurt me like I am prey,

In my heart, there was only you,

But in your mind- chess played by you,

I prayed day and night for your happiness,

You named my love as my madness,

You played with your mind and me by heart,

I know you won the match,

but to be honest, was it a good catch,

Today, you lost me and you cry,

but, what about the tears of my eyes,

That is now dry...

You are now with someone else,

Searching me, inside them...

I too walked away, and promised myself,

Never let you see me again,

I know you will find me one day,

Five feet under the ground...

That day your tears will fall on my grave,

But let me tell you today that I forgave...

I forgave for what you did,

I wish you happiness in your life,

But let me know if your heart is at peace...

Not only you, but I too moved on,

My love is my god,

Now, I understand the meaning of Love,

When fell in Love with my God,

He is the Forgiver of all sins.

The King of the universe,

HE is the Refuge of all hearts...

Oh God hear my sorrows and my sighs,

Have mercy and pardon my sins,

Oh Lord of all the worlds,

In every time and at every instant...

Stuff my heart with conviction,

Make me steadfast on this path,

As it leads me to you...

And forgive as it was me who was away,

I am glad they discouraged me...

The sorrow they gave me lead me to the right path...

Oh Almighty, I feel blessed...

Misbah, I love how you compared life to driving on a road. It is very easy to take a wrong turn or have to take a detour due to some obstacle. It helps to have trust in your God that he will direct you safely to your destination. Both your essay and poem were a good read.
