Delicious Poems on 4 Dishes of Indian Monsoon to Make You Hungry!

Prithviraj is a big foodie and monsoon is his favourite season. So, he did a fusion of rain and food in this poem.

When the monsoon arrives, we all love the essence of mud and the dance of thunder on the beats played by the clouds in the sky.

Every one of us enjoys the touch of the raindrops on the first rain. But that's just not enough. It is incomplete without the special dishes of monsoon. Yup, they all are special throughout the year too, no doubt. But when the rainfall begins these dishes get an extra charm. And suddenly a huge hungry fan base of them gets active.

So get ready to read in a poetic way about these 4 tasty and mouth-watering dishes to eat during monsoon in India.

Tea, Rain, and Serenity

Tea

Tea

Its 4 o clock in the afternoon,
Grey clouds are gathering in the sky,
To sprinkle water over the earth from that high.

The climate is making you feel thirsty,
No! No! Not for water, but for tea.

Oh, it is "The Tea" - A beverage of monsoon season,
The sweet and splendid tea,
Geared to make you feel tension-free!

Have a sip of ginger tea,
To lit your mood with glee!

Or have a taste of black tea,
To make your heart whee!

Or have a cup of Lipton green tea,
To make your soul waggle like a bee!

Whatever is your tea taste,
You will surely get embraced by its grace!

Corn, Monsoon, and River

Corn

Corn

You are standing at the side of a river,
The cold breeze is dancing through your hair,
The smell of the roasted corn is seducing your taste buds,
The sparkled flames from the cob are hypnotizing your eyes.

Everything is persuading you to have a bite of that sweet corn garnished with lemon, chilly powder, and salt.

The taste! The taste! The taste is sweet, spicy, and sour - all at one time.
Oh, what a delicious taste,
It is of that corn,
Especially during the monsoon morn!

Kanda Bhaji - Pure Bliss!

Kanda Bhaji

Kanda Bhaji

It's Sunday monsoon evening,
You are watching Amazon Prime,
And you hear some smell whispering your name,
You look around and you discover it is from the kitchenette,
And like a flower calling a bee, you rushed towards it at full pace.

You get all happy and Jumpy by seeing your mother cooking Kanda Bhaji,
Your taste buds are excited to feel the touch of that dish.
And the crispy dance of the onions, spices, and the besan in the oil is delighting your eyes!

Oh, what a heaven like a dish the Kanda Bhaji is!
Because your heart, soul, and mind have forgotten the show for the hunger of it!

Maggi and Joy!

Masala Maggi

Masala Maggi

Your journey to Lonavala begins,
To enjoy the splash of waterfalls,
And a splendid touch of winds from hills.

After getting wet,
You feel like eating something hot and spicy,
So your eyes wander around for a tangy dish.

You spot a thela where Maggi is being prepared with water, masala, and cheese.
You run towards it like a crazy kid,
After all, it is a favourite dish of yours from those kindergarten days.

You look at it and say,

"Maggi! Oh, Maggi!
Oh, precious Maggi!
Necklace of Indian Monsoons,
Mutual dish of all the generations,
How much should I praise you?
Because It's always less!

The slurp of juicy noodles,
And the taste of those fiery masalas,
And the sprinkled delicious cheese along with those veggies;
All of which is pure bliss!
