Friendship Is A Fairy Of Hope: Brenda Arledge Poetry Prompts

Alyssa is an avid reader, writer, and coffee enthusiast. She loves sharing thoughts, ideas, and creative writings with the world.

Well I finally caught up. I breathe a sigh of relief when I complete a piece of writing, but it's always a larger feeling where creative writing is concerned. Because my responses weren't lengthy lines, I decided to combine them. I tried to approach Hope from a different angle, explored new forms with Fairy, and expressed a simple idea with Friendship.

Thank you for these prompts Brenda! Joining in on this weekly series has helped me focus more on my creative side. At times it's frustrating, but challenges help us learn and grow stronger.

What a dangerous game

this belief that sustains,

That unwavering feeling

collectively unraveling

the evil threads

holding the world's fabric

Inquisitive and mysterious

Radiant, dazzling, and charmingly

Sparkles and glitter

Enchanting and so clever

A magical sight.

What a beautiful mystery

life offers

when we find

a soul

who so perfectly

and unequivocally

matches our own.

Thank you for your kind words.

I'm delighted to see you enjoy a challenge.

Your poetry never lets us down.

I like the way you describe hope as a dangerous game.

A fairy is inquisitive and mysterious...a magical sight.

Your last one on friendship shows us how beautiful it is when we find that one.

All of these poems speak volumes in so few words.

Great writing.

I will post the links.
