Hello again! How is September treating you? It's a beautiful and sunny right now in Ohio. I'm trying to enjoy the weather while it lasts. My birthday is coming up and I'm getting the house ready for my favorite holiday, Halloween.

I'm slowly working my way through Brenda's prompts and came up with a little something in response to week 27, summer.

As always, a big thank you to Brenda! These prompts keep my creativity on its toes and help me get in the right mindset for my short stories. Be on the lookout. With any luck, I'll reach my goal and have one published later this month.

Throw on your dress

give me a twirl

laughter over the beat

how I wish I could be like you

It's the season of love

you're so carefree

dancing with the wind

a true beauty queen.

We'll sleep 'til noon

lay out in the sun

tempting fate

in our quest for vanity

grand visions of the future

turn to secrets whispered

as twilight appears

the hour of legs and heels

danger and fun

we're Thelma and Louise

predators seeking prey

youthful immortality

will not be wasted.
