closures are made for the soul to be free

one must break out from uncertainty

so the heart could accept what has been done

and the mind could discern what's forever gone

there are some feelings we loath to carry

and memories we try hard to bury

we run away from our past

but running away shall never last

we can never escape from what's inside

unless we let loose of our pride

take time to internalize

because deep inside is where freedom lies

some feelings are worth confronting

lots of questions are worth answering

closures remove the dagger in our hearts

so it could heal as the pain departs

@Linda Crampton, thank you for reading :)

I definitely agree. We have to clear the issues before we could move on. :)

I like the advice that you share in this poem very much. Closure of a problematic issue from the past is very important for a happy future.

@John Hansen I am so glad you liked it. :)

Another good poem Roshena. We can't escape the past and change what has already been done by ignoring it or pretending it didn't happen.mto obtain closure we have to face it deal with it, forgive either other's or ourself, and move on.
