Poem: Scars

Author:

Iam a female writer, currently a graduate student, thou whatever I exprienced I just draw it in my article ....

poetry

the cut that i made,

from a blade,

to punish myself,

for the mess i did ,

And now the scars on my body,

are the evidence that my past was not more than a hell,

and whenever i look at those scars,

i witness how i survived with that trauma,

and now im free,

dont give up, either fight,

and let the evil spirit know

that you are strong,

and they re wrong,

Atlast! we won the battle,

thou we survived and alive,

the scar on my hand ,

is an identity of my survival...

Beautiful expression of the journey from darkness to light. You paint reality but you include the victory. Excellent!

Don't ask me why. I like you and I like your poem. A sweet sincerity, perhaps? Simplicity?

You seem to know now that God loves us all and is in the fire of our abyss as well as in our Joys. You are very special and a unique dream of His. Om Shanti!

Nicely composed poem about a sad part of life and I think if our past is not worth memorizing then we should erase our memories. Good read!
