Pile on White Men Burden

A poem

Piles on white man's burden

Pile on white man burdens

I feel there are no words to say, because I’ve been accused of my ancestor burden, they think each word that come out of my mouth it's like a cobra poison snake, even if it's not.

They judge me by the color of my skin and the burden of my ancestor.

I ask for respect, but they think I stole it from them.

Piles on white man's burdens

I try to make up for my ancestor mistake by helping and saving the life.

By doing so I’ve been accused of killing them, even if I didn’t have a choice, I know it was the only way to protect me and the people.

Pile on white man burdens

Every Time I hear the crime of my ancestor, it makes the blood in my vein boiling through me turning into a fire that wants to fly free.

Don't want to appreciate my skin color because of my ancestor mistake.

they judge me by the color of my skin and the type of chromosome I have inside of me.

Pile on white man burdens

you think that all white people are racist and evil.

You think that I don’t understand what you went through, but you forgot it was my bloodline that made it happen, it was my blood line that stood there and watches and did nothing.

You forgot the blood is on my hand.

The past of my ancestor is hunting me

Pile on white man burdens

I know what I did wrong…

but wait,

Me !!!,

NO NOT ME,

I know what my ancestor did wrong.

I have to pay for it every day.

I have to see the sadness and the inequality between us.

Pile on white man burdens

I ask for your forgiveness of my ancestor and the privilege I lent too.

I ask that we could be brothers and sister without you thinking I am racist

I ask that we could make a new history together and protect each other back

I ask that we could work together and fight the evil of our government that wants to separate us.

I ask that we could be a family

Piles on white man's burden

I understand the pain that my ancestor brought on to you.

I understand that if you can’t forgive me

That history will always run through my blood, and the past will always haunt me.
