Summary

There comes a time in life when you start asking questions to yourself and when you don't get an answer. You start to cry in front of the Lord, as you know only He, is the One who listens to you when everyone ignores you.

I have read somewhere and now, at this stage of life, I feel it's really true

"A man reaches real love (The Love of God) only after making the journey of virtual love (here I am quoting virtual love like the love between people)"

When a person gets tired of people who are not true to him, only then does the person desires to meet his God, the Almighty, the forgiver, the all-knowing, and the merciful.

Life often asks me a question,
Gaining something or losing something...

I ask a question to life,
Giving or taking something...
Life smiles and didn't answer my question

Today, I am sitting alone under the open sky
Oh Lord, tell me If I am living today
Or sighing?

They don't remember with whom I walked so long,
In the cold breeze, In the hot sun...

Why did those whom I support betray?
Who promised to go along
Why did they leave me alone in the midway?

Is this the continuation of life, my Lord?
No one holds the hand of the one who wants to go along,

Oh, Lord! I am alone, hold my hand tight,
Hide me somewhere I want to cry...

Hide me somewhere where no one can see me,
Take me out of here.

This world is not for me...

Yes Chitrangada Sharan true

Only the ones who are close to us knows well where to stab exactly and that is very sad to get hurt by a person who is the world to you

God is the only Refuge

Nice expressions and relatable.

Sadly, this happens. Sometimes, the ones whom you trust the most, give you all the pain.

Yes, God knows all, and gives us the strength to recover.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your appreciation, Brenda

Yes God listens to each word, each heart

and the feeling of wanting to hide and cry somewhere where no one can see makes you, even more, closer to God

Feeling of heartbreak.

It's difficult when no answers can be found, but God listens to each word.

That feeling of wanting to hide is real. It touches us when we are hurting deep inside

Great write

I really liked your poetry, Misbah. The pain of betrayal and seeking the Lord are certainly reflected in this poem. This is an excellent article.
