Catching Eagles

Catching Eagles

The sun unforgiving perusal in my pursuit
Unfurls to possess yondering mountain lies my vision quest
Closer now they circle is it a requiem of my dream?
A celestial brush tracing across the sky a masterpiece

My prayers become the paint motionless in the rocks I wait
A divine dance pinion poem written on the wind
Mysteries unmasked the scales fall from my eyes
Burgeoned now I climb if only to touch the sublime

Black and white framed in blue cincture crying out to you
Piercing lunging like lightening I spiral back
Ageless tapestry in air I take the leap to touch the easel
Surreal suddenly I am not afraid to fall I am catching eagles
