Blue

Rise up,
A new day has begun!
Today,
I will give you a ray of hope.
Forgive thyself,
From previous mistakes.
Swim across this vast
Ocean of azure
& fly with the birds.
Dwell not,
Unto frustrations.
I say,
‘Rise up! Rise up!’
For today is another day
To learn and try
Anything you aspire.
Let it all sink in
The bluest of blues
Because blue
Is the new color of hope!

Every rise of the sun comes a ray of hope, no matter how bad you feel last night, try to welcome a new day with full confidence as well as motivation & faith because God is good to his children.

Lovely poem Sunshine. Yes, focus on today and use the past as lessons learned to make us appreciate today even more. Each day is a gift and none of us know how much time we have on this earth. So take each moment and do the things that you love most, and tell your loved ones just how much they mean to you! Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Sunshine Tipod, truly, holding on to past mistakes always hinder ones progress. Your advice to forgive one's self is great and timely. This is the most serious agenda in the poem. Thanks for sharing.
