Your face in my hands.

Cornelius Nolitta, Italian writer, published books: L'Anima Scritta; Arcanum. Available on Amazon.

Your face in my hands.
Keep it that way, looking into your eyes that harness the universe.
Caress the velvety skin of your cheeks.
Light fingers touch light pink cheeks.
They touch lips that the color of red rose petals have been stolen.
It is inevitable to place a kiss on it that looks like a sigh.
It is only a moment, or an hour, it seems that time has stopped.
The world has disappeared, only the immensity of your gaze remains.

Loved it Cornelius...I don't have much to say...because the verse itself speaks so much...Ain't it a beautiful feeling of having someone close to our heart truly close to our heart....?...Their presence truly makes our day...Thanks for sharing this verse full of emotions...

Lorna Lamon on September 25, 2019:
