You'll Never Know

I write, read, crochet, sing, and play musical instruments. A sucker for learning.

Poem #5

Do you know...

That I think of you endlessly

Your image continuously circling inside my head

I feel your hand holding mine

Like the first time you did

You kissed my knuckles like

They're the most beautiful knuckles you've ever beheld

In your entire life

Your life

I want to belong in your life

The feel of your hair

Silk passing through my fingers

Your skin as brown as a bear

You're my cuddly and sweet bear

I purchased you with heart coins that

I have saved for years

I kept them so I can have you

Even just for a while back then

And now

Even in mirages at the desert of my

life without you

For now

You will never know this

Until you come to me

Just breathe and

Come to me again

A wonderful poem. Memories of the first touch remain for all time...so does the yearning when you reminisce.

Only time will tell.

Great write.
