You Say the Wrongs

A prolific writer inspired by environment and insights. He writes poems and essays and articles.

You say, time heals you well

Brings back your chiming bell

But in whom the wound beats time

Do the jingles ever chime?

You say, you will start a normal day

'Tearless night' you say

But if I remain inside you with pains

Will that keep you free of November rain?

Will that give you a tearless tale

Will time heal your broken sale?

Please know that nothing will heal me again

All that time claims, are so foolishly insane

Because once your love has been felt

My entire life has forever knelt

On its hands, knees and all the skin folds

I have forever been sold.

I totally agree Mr. Ravi. Thanks for reading my Poem and commenting on it :) the perception of time and its impact on lives and minds is so bizarre! Stay safe brother! Cheers!

A very thought provoking read Muhammad. Time is actually a double edged sword. On one hand it heals the wounds of the past and on the other hand it reminds us of those very wounds in starling clarity, ensuring that we learn from our mistakes. Thanks for sharing.

Loved your take on this one. Beautifully expressed. Yes, time does not heal the wounds. It just makes us feel used to it. The Wound of a broken heart can never be healed. Only Love of God is true love. Rest is just attractions. Love the Divine and you will never feel alone.

Blessings and Peace to you
