You Found Your Voice

I can’t keep up with the things you dream
Is there someone hidden that I can’t see?
There’s always a place in my life for what's wrong
I can only pray what’s right is still inside of me

Is there something only you and I know?
Is it sadness or a joke you once told?
No matter the past it’s always going to stay
I wonder if my heart could ever be so bold

You found your voice
You found your voice
I can hear it now
And it's so far away

Do you want a man who’s calm as can be?
Do you want a mystery only he can see?
What I am to you is not as clear to me
Am I dark clouds raining on your insecurities?

You’re not crying anymore, as if I wish you were
If you love someone, why set their sun?
It’s not about me anymore, you’re stronger now
My mistake was thinking you were the lucky one

You found your voice
You found your voice
I can hear it now
And it's so far away

Mark,

Sounds like you are talking to The Spirt with the first two lines:

"I can’t keep up with the things you dream

"Is there someone hidden that I can’t see?

The second two lines,

"There’s always a place in my life for what's wrong

"I can only pray what’s right is still inside of me";

in a reversed kind of way answers your question. We are told not to judge which means we are to be objective concerning everything we do and inquire within ourselves for the purpose, thus, hidden behind the wrong and right judgments is the purpose you are unable to see.

The next four lines reinforces the second two, the joke is you will not heed "judge not" and as long as you continue to judge it will be "bold" in your heart.

The third four lines appear to question God concerning what he wants in a sort of telling way that spirit wants you calm (so that) you can see the mystery that's not clear to you because of the dark clouds caused by judging.

The finial four lines appears to be to the one we call Christ, a co-God, in saying he is "not crying any more" and has become stronger because of his resurrection but you appear to began to see some light in the end as you realize it's your error to believe him lucky since you can be the same if you overcome judging.

In short, you are suggesting you will overcome your ignorance due to being judgmental because he had to do the very same thing, the difference is his has already come and yours is yet to be.

Thanks for sharing it.
