Yin Yang

yin-yang-cosmos

The cosmos is full of insatiable bright stars,
Sucking the dark matter surrounding it.

The rich world around us hints of sufferings,
Due to insatiable egos that can’t be filled in.

Big egos absolutely sick in the dark and destroy all beauty and truth. Very well described in your poem. Thank you.

I would point my finger at some of these, but then I would have 3 more pointing back at me. And constant gentle battle for me. I win mostly.

This is wonderful.

You said a lot in a few words, Hari. The insatiable egos and greed in this world saddens me.

Sunethra Aluthdunne on January 20, 2020:

Well said Hari.

Hari Prasad S (author) from Bangalore on January 20, 2020:

Li, you have analysed the poem perfectly. What seems beautiful is also living on the dark side of the space, we too are in a way opposite, the good earth is being sucked dry by us humans.

Li-Jen Hew on January 20, 2020:

Hi Hari. Thanks for sharing. It can be looked at in two ways. The stars are egoistic hence insatiable or they remove the dark matter which is egotism. This seems like a signal for us to reflect more on the subject of egotism. I think it's been a popular subject lately.
