Wrinkled Ripples (Floating Through Time)

I have stumbled across a new passion: writing. It is proving to be insightful and rewarding.

Water Ripples Circles

Water Ripples Circles

Reflective ripples reach out to converge with my conscience.

They energize my mind’s ability to apprehend what they say, what they have to convey.

What do we recognize as they pass by us?

Time is never on their side as they silently spread out with circular secrets of spiritual visions.

Why are they all too soon gone from view, disappearing on top of the water’s surface, seemingly gone forever.

The fairies of the forest know what they are and where they go, as their energy merges with eternity.

The trees in the distance value their wisdom.

Don’t allow their disappearance to extinguish their memory.

They will emerge ever and again from now until all the ends of infinity’s begin.

Their knowledge and wisdom and what time holds for us is but a memory that silently comforts us and leaves us with an inner peace.

The reflective imaginings is my mind’s ability to comprehend what I see.
What my mind’s eye sees is in the mirror of my subconscious.
Hence, the reflections. Although, they’re more like dark shadows. Like lighted silhouettes reflected on a wall. Dragging one’s self into one’s conscience is very uncomfortable, especially when living in the dark. Awaken dear soul! Awaken to the light! Feel the love you are surrounded with. It embraces you with a gentle touch to remind you of memories found floating on reflective ripples across a quiet pond.

Hi Brenda! Yes! That's the art of poetry, isn't it? To imagine.

Interesting...I have not given much thought to the ripples.

I suppose they could be full of wisdom.

Thank you, Ruby, that is very true!

This was very beautiful and a calmness filters through as you think about the many ripples that disintegrate through life.
