Feminism isn't about making women stronger. Women are already strong, it's about changing the way the world perceives that strength."- G.D. Anderson

Grandmoms, moms, aunts, sisters, and wives

they are the women in our lives

nurtured by countless challenges

they have been battling for ages

They have been regarded as weak

because they look so frail and meek

they never regard her as strong

she has always been they've been wrong

She can be firm if she wants to

she will fight for her point of view

with her heart always on her sleeves

you wonder on reasons she weeps

Society denied her of posts

she is better off as a host

gradually her roles have evolved

now, she’s more actively involved

women's rights are now more defined

they're no longer on the sidelines

just a woman is now passe'

women can't drive is just cliche'

there is still a long way to go

worldwide acceptance needs to grow

hope this women's celebration

we'll see through next generation

"In the future, there will be no female leaders. There will just be leaders".-Sheryl Sandberg
