Wisdom from the Master

"Be universal in your love. You will see the universe to be the picture of your own being."- Sri Chinmoy

Bathing in the Beauty of Your Delight

As twilight moonbeams, reveal twinkling stars,

The glow of Thy splendour, I do behold;

The morning’s rose, emits Your aromas,

Your grandeur and lustre, calms my sad soul.

Flooded I was, with a river of tears,

Till a loving concern, came from Your Heart.

My painful torment, did last many years,

But You filled me with Love, ne’er to depart.

Oh for the tulips, petunias, lilies,

Nature’s rhythms, awaken the ‘possum.

Wrens and hummingbirds, chanting Your glories,

Buds emit wafts, while lavenders blossom.

You bathe me in beauty, making me whole.

And embody Delight, deep in my soul.

Just Live in the Moment

Pretty white lily that waltzes so gay,

Charisma and glamour in ev’ry way.

Speaks only in silence with little to say,

Yet adorned in allure her garments lay.

She dances with zephyrs within the grove,

Free, unassuming, she restfully sleeps.

“Worry,” said Lily, ‘bout your treasure trove?”

I toil not, never sow, yet I always reaps.

As the Master nourishes; clothes me, while,

I radiantly smile, fear not tomorrow.

I inhale the cool air and swing with style,

Not a tear or strife; not any sorrow.

I urge that you end this wearisome stress,

Just live in the ‘now’; let Love do the rest.

The Dawn

Dawn is restorative; globally loved,

Iridescence of lustre from the night.

Rejuvenates life and challenges shoved,

Replaces the darkness with newness-Light.

I struggle and sweat each moment I see,

With glamour and demons, pleasures and pain.

My curative friend invigorates me,

In the twilight of morning’s sweet refrain.

The lustrous morn, is a beacon of hope,

O dawn, your flowing resonance I feel.

Augmenting the energy of my scope;

Envisioning beams of tomorrow’s thrill.

Into the Citadel, of my Heart’s gongs,

You flood me with chords of redolent songs.

Yes, Bill.

I take it you need just warm sunshine and running streams right now. I will chuck in the palm tress of Bali and Hawaiian coconuts in the mix. Enjoy!

Misbah Sheikh from The World of Poets on August 10, 2021:

Of course, I'm aware that you're following me. I'm following you as well, but the issue is still there, and it appears to be a problem on HP's end. Let's ignore that as well. I believe it is also out of our control. Take Care

manatita44 (author) from london on August 10, 2021:

Misbah,

I just checked. I'm following you. So you will get the notice in your mail. The feed is probably there now, but they tend to appear later and also they go up and down the page at different hours.

Yes, the third one is about living in the Eternal Now, the Sacrament of the Present Moment. Christ used the lilies of the field to remind us. Note in the Hub, Guru ji says never worry about anything that you cannot change. Grief will help us all to grow, however painful. Sukriya!

Misbah Sheikh from The World of Poets on August 10, 2021:

Bro, Just to inform you that your article didn't appear in my feed. I caught it from the email notification. :) I have noticed that sometimes I am not even getting the notification of hubs I am following. :(

Blessings always!

Misbah Sheikh from The World of Poets on August 10, 2021:

A very beautiful dedication to Maryam, bro. You know I always enjoy reading everything you write. I loved these lines,

"As the Master nourishes; clothes me, while,

I radiantly smile, fear not tomorrow.

I inhale the cool air and swing with style,

Not a tear or strife; not any sorrow.

I urge that you end this wearisome stress,

Just live in the ‘now’; let Love do the rest."

I enjoyed all of them but third one is my favorite as it is very very sweet, soothing and Motivational.

Thanks a lot for sharing these soothing words. Blessings and Love to both of you!
