Wings of the Beloved

Winged creatures are the loveliest of all Gods creations,

Put here on this earth to inspire us all, our acclamations.

So beautiful and full of life, each feathered one to behold,

Their enraptured auras greet us each new day, to unfold.

Eagle

Feathered angels all sent here to us to lighten our day,

Each of every colour and hue to help brighten our way.

Making our lives much richer by their own endowment,

A precious gift of radiance by each for our environment.

Flock of Mallards

All along the lane they sing us such a sweet rhapsody,

Announcing the evening in a refrain, all for you and me.

As the sun sets and then to rise again, gives us a salute,

Their tunes echo in the night, a dream time song to suit.

Birds are such beautiful spirits, both in sight and sound,

Happy days to greet us all, is better when they're around.

So many varieties of our feathered friends so do abound,

Among the finer wonders of this earth's never to be found.
