Why Not Leave the World Alone: A Rhyme with Message

Val enjoys writing his own style of what resembles poetry, just hoping to catch someone's heart on the same page.

Why should you suffer for world's stupidity

no one is asking for your opinion or advice

and why be bothered by the news morbidity

media business is not even meant to be nice.

Other people's games are their own affairs

they don't know how to end what they start

and when you're in trouble world won't care

they are just so quick to tell you to get smart.

World is nothing but one colossal abstraction

to know it, hundred lifetimes wouldn't suffice

and yet, we judge it by that familiar fraction

hesitant between images of hell or paradise.

If you want to empathize with the mankind

your choice of feelings couldn't be tougher

for, how do you really make up your mind

whether to be happy for them or to suffer.

World you hardly know shouldn't make you worry

shouldn't even have concerns of your own nation

and for all that world's misery you can't feel sorry

while from those rejoicing you won't get invitation.
