Why Can't I Hold On?
Hey, I am Nishika. I'm a budding writer and enthusiastically explore different areas. I always try to keep myself motivated and enjoy life.
Trapped in a room
With air, so sulky
Space feels looted
And I stare nowhere blankly
Remorse invades my thoughts
Feeling the yellow bile rise and strong
I want to hark back
And redo all the deeds done wrong
Then, there are flashes
Like a movie playing before my eyes
I find myself watching the futurity
From where with the sun I will rise
That's when avidity kicks in
Trying to break the invisible walls
I want to step out
And savor the bonnie fall
There's something keeping me
From seeking an escape
Not willing to fall by the wayside
I frantically start to pace
There is a ray in the dark
I found it and I can feel it's warmth
In hands and in my heart
But, why can't I hold on?
