Fences in the Heart

Fences In The Heart

Scars and anger left by war

Who gave you permission my friend
To hate your brother and kill him
Who gave you a passport
To demolish all and annihialiation

Wars are apparant wherever we look
From news to paper and book
What will happen to our dear dear world
Oh brother oh sister, consider and look

The towns are laid waste and no one to tend the fields
The rubble tell stories of blood, sweat, wars and tears
Be saddened to find the life left in war
Has scars and anger and other's to blame, what a shame, what a shame!

Yes, anger and hate creates more antagonism but sowing seeds of peace, love and forgiveness, heals. Thanks Brenda.

It is a very tragic situation.

One that needs attention.

This is a beautiful piece. I wondered if I can share poetry on here. Your poem has a lot of imagery and you did a very nice job taking it home. I've been inspired to release some of my poems on here.
